Timber Performance Analysis
Certification assistance
The Timber Performance Analysis service helps find the products that best meet our customer’s needs and the raw material from which they can be made. The analysis is carried out in close cooperation with our customers and the suitability of the products for their process can also be confirmed. The service model includes the detailed control and coordination of deliveries. In addition, the supply of wood raw material can be controlled in accordance with our customers’ needs.
We help our customers obtain certification for their end products by gathering all the relevant information and assisting in the application process. All our products meet current safety, responsibility, and environmental standards, so we can offer all possible certificates for the raw materials used by the customer.
Metsä Experience
Metsä Experience provides support for the sustainability work of our customers. During a one or two-day visit, participants learn on-site about sustainable forest management, tracking the origin of wood, various felling patterns, and forest regeneration. The programme for each Metsä Experience visit is tailored to the needs of the participants and hosted by our experts. The participants also visit one of our sawmills to see sawn timber production in practice.
Metsä Timber Online
Metsä Timber Online is complete timber ordering solution. It offers our customers one place to browse, order and track all their sawn timber products on any device. Easy-to- use Marketplace feature makes it simple to select goods from a wide range and customise the time of delivery and destination. With its Track & Trace feature, our customers can monitor shipping and delivery in real time. All order documentation is automatically stored for future reference.
Customised training
We want to help our customers get the most out of our sawn timber. We offer comprehensive training and materials to optimise the use of raw materials in the production process and in the final products. Online courses for our customers are available in the Metsä Learning Hub.
